Leana Leach is a classically trained pianist who performs a wide range of musical styles, including jazz standards, classic rock & pop, boogie & blues, original compositions, and classical music. As a teenager growing up in Long Beach, CA, she won 1st place three times in the Southwestern Youth Music Festival. She then earned a B.A. degree in Music from California State University, Long Beach, and an M.A. degree in Dance with a focus on Music from UCLA.

She moved to Sun Valley and performed full time as a solo pop/rock/folk singer on piano and guitar at Elkhorn Lodge for 15 years, then joined the Sun Valley Trio for 12 years playing jazz standards on piano and sometimes drums in the SV Lodge Dining Room.  Every Sunday she played solo classical and original piano at the LDR Brunch (Lodge Dining Room), and Sunday nights she played in the Duchin Room with the SV Trio then eventually her own trio of classic rock, pop, and blues. She now loves performing in the beautiful, remodeled Duchin Lounge.

Leana has composed and recorded 3 albums of her own original piano pieces, and has taken extended engagements performing in Japan, Sweden, Norway, France, Greece, and Russia. She is also a life-long traveler having now visited 85 countries throughout the world.
